‘D54’: Dhanush Kicks Off Shooting Directed by Vignesh Raja
July 10, 2025: After wrapping up his Hindi film Tere Ishk Mein and his recent appearance in the hit Kuberaa, superstar Dhanush has started work on his upcoming Tamil project, tentatively titled ‘D54’. The film’s shooting officially commenced today under the direction of Vignesh Raja, known for Por Thozhil.
The makers unveiled the film’s first look poster, featuring a somber Dhanush standing amidst a scorched cotton field with flames rising in the background, setting an intense and dramatic tone for the film.
The film will feature Mamitha Baiju, who gained acclaim for her role in Premalu, as the female lead. The soundtrack will be composed by the talented GV Prakash Kumar, adding to the film’s much-anticipated musical appeal.
Supporting roles include veteran actors such as Jayaram, KS Ravikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas, and Prithvi Pandiraj, promising a strong ensemble cast.
Produced by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh under Vels Film International in collaboration with Think Studios, D54 is already creating buzz among fans eager to see Dhanush’s next venture.
