Directed by Bobby Kolli, the movie opened to packed theaters during the Sankranti holiday season, captivating audiences with its intense drama and action.

With a 50.39% Telugu occupancy on Tuesday, the film has shown consistent performance across theaters. Globally, ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ grossed ₹74 crore within two days, according to Sithara Entertainments.

The producers took to social media, announcing, “The ultimate Sankranti blockbuster is winning hearts worldwide! #DaakuMaharaaj ROARS with a MASSIVE ₹74+ crore worldwide gross in 2 DAYS!” The film also marked the highest opening of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s career, with ₹56 crore gross worldwide on day one.

  • Nandamuri Balakrishna as the titular ‘Daaku Maharaaj,’ a feared dacoit.

This movie marks Bobby Deol’s debut in Telugu cinema. Written and directed by Bobby Kolli, ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ boasts music by S Thaman and is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya.
