Daughter-in-Law, Nicola Peltz Clashes With Victoria and David Beckham Over Brooklyn: Report

Sources allege Nicola is fed up with the Beckhams’ treatment of Brooklyn, calling them “narcissistic” and “toxic” as tensions mount over family exclusion and emotional rifts.

May 7, 2025: Nicola Peltz is reportedly standing her ground in what insiders are calling an increasingly fractured Beckham family dynamic. According to TMZ, the actress is deeply upset by how her in-laws, David and Victoria Beckham, allegedly treat her husband, Brooklyn Beckham.

The report claims that Nicola, 30, has become fed up with David’s tendency to “verbally berate” their son during phone calls, which sometimes stretch to an hour of scolding. Sources also describe the former footballer and fashion designer as “narcissistic” and “performative” in their dealings with Brooklyn, 26.

In addition to Brooklyn’s reported fallout with brother Romeo Beckham, 22, Nicola and her husband are said to be “devastated” that David and Victoria have shown no interest in resolving the tension—and have even expressed unwillingness to include Nicola in such discussions.

“She always talks back to them and stands up for Brooklyn,” one insider revealed.

Despite repeated attempts to open communication, including flying to London privately for David Beckham’s 50th birthday, Brooklyn and Nicola were allegedly snubbed and excluded from the official celebration. Victoria’s social media posts featured Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, but not Brooklyn or Nicola.

Meanwhile, Us Weekly reports that David and Victoria have “thrown in the towel” on mending ties with Brooklyn and Peltz.

The strain echoes rumors from their 2020 wedding, when alleged feuds with Victoria over the wedding dress and dance sparked headlines. While Brooklyn and Nicola denied those claims in past interviews, the rift seems to have resurfaced.
