David Harbour, Lily Allen Split After 4 Years Of Marriage
February 5, 2025: Lily Allen and David Harbour have reportedly ended their marriage after four years, according to E! News. The British singer, best known for her hit “Smile,” and the “Stranger Things” actor are said to have gone their separate ways following a period of private challenges.
Allen and Harbour’s relationship first made headlines in August 2019 when they were seen together in London. Their romance quickly blossomed, with the couple making their red carpet debut at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in early 2020. Just a few months later, in September 2020, the pair tied the knot in a secret Las Vegas ceremony.
Before her marriage to Harbour, Allen was previously married to Sam Cooper from 2011 to 2018. Together, they share two daughters, Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 11. Harbour, 49, embraced his role as a stepfather, and in a 2020 interview, he shared how the experience of becoming a paternal figure helped him mature.
In December 2020, Harbour spoke about his stepdad role, saying, “I’m in a relationship with three women who all have very different opinions of me at various times.” He went on to describe the experience as one that made him feel more like an adult.
Meanwhile, Allen recently opened up about struggling with her mental health, revealing on a podcast in January that she had been facing ongoing challenges. She explained how difficult it had been to find interest in anything, and shared that she had been “spiralling” for some time. However, she clarified that her struggles were not related to substance abuse, denying rumors that suggested otherwise.
As of now, there has been no official statement from either Allen or Harbour regarding the reasons for their separation.
