April 19, 2025: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s beloved film Piku is all set to re-release in theatres to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The film, which was a huge success when it first released in 2015, will hit the big screens again on May 9, 2025. To mark the occasion, Deepika shared a touching tribute to her late co-star, Irrfan Khan, who played the role of Rana Chaudhary in the film.
Taking to her Instagram, Deepika posted a heartfelt video that featured Amitabh Bachchan, who portrayed her father in the movie, sharing his experience of working on Piku. The video also included emotional and light-hearted moments from the film, showcasing the memorable chemistry between the actors. Alongside this, Deepika expressed her deep admiration for the late Irrfan Khan, who passed away in 2020.
