Deepika Padukone attends the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles as the first Indian actor.

Actor Deepika Padukone was in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday night for the 2023 Academy Museum Gala. She received the first invitation to the Academy Museum Gala of any Indian celebrity. Deepika posted images of herself from the occasion to her Instagram stories. She looked stunning in a velvet gown the color of purple, accessorized with long, dangling earrings. Fans from all around the world were happy as she represented India on such a significant international platform, making the nation proud once more. MAlasia’s fan page posted images of herself from the event on X.

The Oscars, which are overseen by the same board as the Academy Museum Gala, are the largest stage event in the world. When Deepika presented the Indian music performance at the Oscars earlier this year, she created history. She went to the event with Meryl Streep, Natalie Portman, and celebrities like Selena Gomez and Dua Lipa. On the professional front, Deepika most recently portrayed Aishwarya Rathore in the Shah Rukh Khan film “Jawan.”

She will be seen in the sci-fi action movie “Kalki 2898 AD,” starring with Prabhas, and in the aerial action thriller movie “Fighter,” directed by Siddharth Anand, starring with Hrithik Roshan. ‘Singham Again’ is also present in her cat.
The third installment of the wildly popular trilogy, “Singham Again,” is scheduled to open in theaters on July 4, 2024. It will square off against “Pushpa 2” by Allu Arjun. ‘Singham’ was first published in 2011, and ‘Singham Returns’ was released in 2014. Both endeavors were deemed box office successes.
