Bollywood’s power couple delights fans on Diwali with a series of heartwarming family photos, introducing the world to their one-year-old in matching red attire.
October 22, 2025: Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh gifted their fans a heart-warming surprise this Diwali, finally revealing the face of their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, in an adorable series of photos on their joint Instagram account late Tuesday.
The pictures, shared with the simple festive caption, “✨🧿🪔 दीपावली की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ 🪔🧿✨,” instantly went viral, giving the world its first look at the couple’s little one.
The heartwarming carousel post featured the new parents lovingly holding their daughter. Dua, who was born on September 8, 2024, was the undisputed star, smiling sweetly and even holding her tiny finger to her mouth in one of the snapshots.
For the Diwali celebration, mother and daughter were perfectly coordinated in red ethnic outfits. Deepika looked regal in a red ensemble with matching jewellery, while Dua wore a bright red dress. Ranveer complemented them in a pristine white kurta pyjama. The final picture captured a beautiful, intimate moment, showing little Dua seated on her mother’s lap as the two prayed during the family’s Diwali puja.
The post was immediately flooded with love from fellow celebrities and fans. Actor Ananya Panday commented, “Oh my god 😍😍😍😍😍,” while countless fans gushed over Dua’s cuteness, wishing the family a joyous festival.
Deepika and Ranveer first introduced their daughter to the world last Diwali by revealing her name, Dua Padukone Singh. At the time, they shared the emotional significance behind the name, writing, “Dua: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude.”
On the professional front, both stars have busy schedules. Ranveer Singh is lined up for exciting projects, including Aditya Dhar’s upcoming film, Dhurandhar, and Farhan Akhtar’s directorial venture, Don 3. Deepika Padukone was last seen in the multi-starrer action film Singham Again (2024), where she starred alongside Ranveer, Ajay Devgn, and others. She has been announced as the female lead for a forthcoming sci-fi film from director Atlee, co-starring Allu Arjun (tentatively titled AA22 x A6), and is also expected to be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the film King.
