March 23, 2025: Actress Deepika Padukone recently took a trip down memory lane as she attended the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week. In a delightful video shared by Louis Vuitton on Instagram, Deepika revealed her past connection with the French language.
The 39-year-old star, who made history as the first Indian global ambassador for the luxury fashion brand, spoke fondly of her high school days when she was fluent in French. “I was very good at French. I studied French in 11th and 12th grade, and I was really good,” Deepika shared in the video. She even showcased her language skills by speaking a few French phrases, such as “Je m’appelle Deepika” (My name is Deepika) and “Le monde est à nous” (The world is ours). With a slight correction, she added, “It’s not ‘la,’ it’s ‘le!’”
Apart from attending the prestigious fashion event, Deepika also had fun exploring the City of Light. The video showed the actress enjoying a scooter ride, soaking in the Parisian atmosphere like a true tourist. She gave her fans an inside look at the excitement and chaos of Paris Fashion Week, capturing behind-the-scenes moments that further showcased her playful side.
During the event, Deepika made a fashionable statement, turning heads with her ensemble. She wore a chic white oversized blazer, paired with black leggings, heels, and a matching hat.
