Deepika Padukone Stuns in Intense New ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Poster

Anticipation for the highly awaited sci-fi thriller ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ reached new heights as the film’s creators unveiled a striking new poster featuring Deepika Padukone. This exciting reveal comes just ahead of the trailer launch, keeping fans eagerly on edge.

In the newly released poster, Deepika Padukone exudes intensity, draped in a tattered, shawl-like outfit that hints at the film’s gritty and futuristic aesthetic. Deepika herself shared the poster on her Instagram account, captioning it with, “The hope begins with her. #Kalki2898AD Trailer out Tomorrow.”

The release of the poster immediately garnered enthusiastic responses from fans and industry insiders alike. Deepika’s husband and ardent admirer, Ranveer Singh, commented, “B O O M. stunner!” Sobhita also chimed in with a “W-O-W.” Fans expressed their excitement, with one user exclaiming, “Can’t WAITT!!”

Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is shaping up to be an epic sci-fi dystopian film. Last month, during a thrilling Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), the filmmakers shared a teaser featuring Amitabh Bachchan’s look from the movie. The 21-second teaser showcased Big B in warm, earthy tones, seated in a cave and engaged in prayer to a Shiva linga, with his character covered in bandages.

In the brief clip, a young child asks Amitabh Bachchan’s character, “Kya tum bhagwan ho, kya tum marr nahi sakte? Tum Bhagwan ho? Kaun ho Tum?” To which he replies, “Dwapar yug se Dash avatar ki pratiksha kar raha hoon main, Dronacharya ka putra Ashwatthama.” (Since the Dwapar Yug, I have waited for the Dasavatar.)

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ promises to be a mythology-inspired sci-fi extravaganza set in a futuristic world. Alongside Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan, the film features Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani, further enhancing its star-studded appeal.

Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is set to hit theaters on June 27 this year, and fans eagerly await what is sure to be a cinematic spectacle.
