The announcement on Instagram read, “The Queen marches to conquer! Welcome onboard @deepikapadukone #TheFacesOfAA22xA6 #AA22xA6 – A Magnum Opus from Sun Picture @alluarjunonline @atlee47.”
This collaboration marks Deepika’s reunion with director Atlee after their blockbuster hit Jawan in 2023, which starred Shah Rukh Khan. Notably, this will be Deepika’s first-ever on-screen pairing with Allu Arjun, who is hugely popular for his roles in the Pushpa franchise.
Director Atlee is celebrated for Tamil cinema hits like Mersal, Theri, and Bigil, promising a grand cinematic experience.
Deepika’s addition to the project comes shortly after reports surfaced about her exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit amid rumored creative differences — though her involvement in that film was never officially confirmed.
Fans eagerly await more updates on this star-studded venture that promises to be a milestone for Telugu cinema and pan-India cinema alike.
