Delroy Lindo Joins Cast of Upcoming ‘Godzilla x Kong’ Movie

February 22, 2025: Actor Delroy Lindo has officially joined the cast of the latest instalment in the popular Godzilla-King Kong movie franchise, directed by Grant Sputore. The film, which is a part of Legendary’s MonsterVerse, will once again feature iconic Titans Godzilla and Kong, along with several new human characters.

While plot details remain under wraps, it’s been confirmed that Lindo will play Kaitlyn Dever’s boss at Monarch, a shadowy organization with a complex relationship with the Titans. Lindo joins a star-studded cast, including Dever, Jack O’Connell, and Dan Stevens. The movie promises a cataclysmic, world-ending threat that will challenge both the titans and the humans caught in the crossfire.

Lindo, known for his collaborations with filmmaker Spike Lee, has a long and celebrated career in film, with notable roles in Get Shorty, Gone in 60 Seconds, and Da 5 Bloods. Fans can also look forward to his upcoming role in the supernatural thriller Sinners, which is slated for an April 18 release.
