Demi Moore Shares Joyous Post After First Golden Globe Win

January 7, 2025: After an illustrious career spanning more than four decades, Demi Moore has finally secured her first-ever Golden Globe. The 62-year-old actress won the prestigious Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role in the acclaimed horror film The Substance.

The news of Moore’s Golden Globe victory sent waves of excitement through social media, with the actress herself expressing immense joy and gratitude. Sharing a photo of herself holding the coveted award, Moore took to Instagram the next day to reflect on the honor. “Woke up this morning still in shock but full of so much joy, love, and gratitude for this honor and recognition,” she wrote, adding, “I am so deeply humbled and the little girl in me is saying F— YEAH!”

Moore’s victory was celebrated not only by the actress herself but also by her three daughters—Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah Willis. The trio, whom Moore shares with ex-husband Bruce Willis, took to social media to express their pride. Rumer, 36, posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram stories, saying, “What a gift to witness you shine and be acknowledged not only for the incredible work you did in this film but in the multitude of staggeringly breathtaking work your entire career has been.” She added, “This is just the beginning.”

Meanwhile, Scout expressed her overwhelming pride, stating, “I am so beyond proud, my entire body is buzzing. I am so overwhelmed with joy and pride and gratitude!!” Tallulah, the youngest of the three, called her mother “the greatest teacher,” a sentiment that resonated deeply with Moore’s fans and loved ones.

In her emotional Golden Globe acceptance speech, Moore couldn’t hold back her shock. “I’m just in shock right now. I’ve been doing this a long time, like over 45 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor,” she confessed. “I’m just so humbled and so grateful,” she continued. Moore also shared a piece of valuable advice she received years ago: “Just know you will never be enough, but you can know the value of your worth if you just put down the measuring stick.”

The actress’s victory not only marks a personal milestone but also highlights her incredible range and talent over the years. With The Substance being a standout in her career, it appears that Moore’s remarkable journey is far from over.
