Dexter Is Leaving Netflix — Here’s Where You Can Still Watch It
June 19, 2025: Fans of the hit crime drama Dexter, take note: the series is set to leave Netflix US on June 19, 2025. After a surprise return to the platform in 2024, the show’s streaming license has once again expired, and there’s no official word yet on whether Netflix will renew it.
Originally airing on Showtime from 2006 to 2013, Dexter follows the chilling yet strangely compelling story of Dexter Morgan, a forensic blood-spatter analyst for the Miami police who moonlights as a vigilante serial killer. The show was widely praised in its early seasons, though its final episodes received mixed reviews.
Since its 2024 reappearance, Dexter has been a hit again, garnering over 1.01 billion viewing hours globally. But fans in the US will need to find a new home for their favorite dark anti-hero.
1. Paramount+ with Showtime
All eight seasons are available for $12.99/month. This platform is also home to:
2. Apple TV
You can buy or rent individual episodes for $2.99/episode or entire seasons.
If you’re a Dexter fan, now’s the time to finish your Netflix binge or make the switch to Paramount+ before June 19. And with Dexter: Resurrection just around the corner, there’s plenty more to come from this twisted universe.
