‘Dexter: Original Sin’ Teaser Trailer Out, Release Date Unveiled

The upcoming series Dexter: Original Sin is set to premiere on December 13. This prequel explores the early life of Dexter Morgan, narrated by Michael C. Hall, who reprises his role as the iconic character. The series is expected to have a distinct 1990s vibe, showcasing the era’s music, fashion, and aesthetics.

Set in 1991 Miami, the 10-episode drama follows a young Dexter, played by Patrick Gibson, as he transitions from a student to a serial killer. With the guidance of his father, Harry (played by Christian Slater), Dexter learns to navigate his dark urges and adhere to a personal code that allows him to eliminate those he deems unworthy without attracting police attention.

The cast also includes Patrick Dempsey as Captain Aaron Spencer, Molly Brown as Debra Morgan, and Christina Milian as Maria LaGuerta, among others. Additionally, Sarah Michelle Gellar makes a special guest appearance as Tanya Martin.
