Dhanush-Kriti Sanon’s ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ Crosses ₹2 Crore in Advance Sales

Aanand L Rai’s intense love story, Tere Ishq Mein, has registered strong pre-release momentum, selling over 44,000 tickets to earn ₹2.53 crore ahead of its Friday worldwide premiere.

November 26, 2025: The magic of the Dhanush and Aanand L Rai collaboration appears poised for another box office success, with the intense romantic action drama, Tere Ishq Mein, registering massive advance booking numbers ahead of its November 28 release.

The film, which pairs Dhanush with Kriti Sanon for the first time and features music by A.R. Rahman, has already garnered an enthusiastic response from cinema-goers, hinting at a strong opening weekend.

Box Office Buzz & Projections

According to Sacnilk, the film has sold approximately 44,320 tickets across nearly 5,000 shows in India, accumulating a gross pre-sales collection of approximately ₹2.53 crore (including blocked seats). Reports indicate that the Hindi version is driving the majority of this momentum.

Trade experts are bullish on the film’s prospects, especially given the lack of major competition this week:

  • Double-Digit Opening: Industry analyst Sumit Kadel noted the “SOLID” early advance sales, suggesting the film is “BIG HIT LOADING,” with some predictions placing the opening day collection around the ₹10-15 crore mark.
  • Pan-India Appeal: The film is set for a wide release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, capitalizing on Dhanush’s strong regional base while aiming for a major Bollywood breakthrough.

Intense Romance Gets Censor Clearance

The massive pre-release buzz follows the film’s recent clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The board granted the movie a U/A 16+ certificate with virtually no visual edits, keeping the core romantic and action sequences intact, requiring only a minor change to a single dialogue.

The confirmed 169.17-minute (2 hours, 49 minutes, and 17 seconds) runtime promises a powerful, extended cinematic experience. The trailer, which introduces the raw, passionate world of the characters Shankar and Mukti, hints at themes of love, sorrow, and forgiveness, delivered with Rai’s signature emotional depth.

As the film prepares for its worldwide release on Friday, November 28, the impressive pre-sale figures suggest that the emotional intensity, combined with the proven track record of the Dhanush-Aanand L Rai duo, has successfully created one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
