February 26, 2025: Bollywood’s iconic star Dharmendra has shared a heartfelt post dedicated to actress Alia Bhatt, with whom he worked in the 2023 blockbuster Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. On Tuesday, Dharmendra, known as Bollywood’s He-Man, reminisced about their time together during the film’s promotions, posting a picture of the two from that time.
In the caption, Dharmendra expressed his affection for Alia, referring to her as a “loving bahu” and “pretty beti.” He wrote, “An excellent artist, loving Bahu, Pretty Beti. Always pray for RK,” showcasing his fondness and admiration for the actress.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which was released on July 28, 2024, starred Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, and quickly became a major hit with audiences. The movie also featured legendary stars like Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi, adding to its star-studded ensemble.
Apart from his recent tribute to Alia, Dharmendra is gearing up for his upcoming war drama, Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan. The film is based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery. The film also stars Agastya Nanda, the grandson of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, and is set to be a tribute to the life of this brave soldier.
