Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has officially entered the stratosphere of global cinema, crossing the monumental ₹1700 crore mark on its 25th day.

Even as it nears the end of its fourth week in theaters, the action spectacle shows no signs of fatigue, cementing its position as the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of all time. With a total worldwide collection now standing at ₹1,712.98 crore, Singh has delivered a career-defining hit that is currently dominating the 2026 global charts.

Domestically, the film continues to draw massive crowds, particularly over the weekends. On Sunday, the film witnessed a 9.3% jump, raking in ₹14.75 crore. This brings the total India gross to ₹1,297.48 crore (Net: ₹1,083.67 crore). While the Hindi version remains the primary engine of growth with an impressive occupancy rate, the film has also maintained a steady, loyal footprint in the Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada markets.

The Race for the Top Spot

Trade analysts are keeping a close watch on the film’s trajectory as it begins to close the gap with the industry’s biggest titans. Dhurandhar 2 is now within striking distance of shattering the records held by some of the most iconic films in Indian history:

  • Dangal: ₹2,070.30 crore
  • Baahubali 2: ₹1,788.06 crore
  • Pushpa 2: ₹1,742.10 crore
  • Dhurandhar 2: ₹1,712.98 crore (and counting)

“The momentum is historic. If the film maintains this pace, overtaking Pushpa 2 is a matter of ‘when,’ not ‘if,'” noted a leading box office tracker.

Upcoming Competition

While Dhurandhar 2 has enjoyed a virtually unchallenged run so far, its biggest box office test arrives this Thursday, April 16. The highly anticipated release of Bhooth Bangla, which reunites the legendary duo of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan, is expected to provide the first real competition for screen space and audience attention. Until then, Ranveer Singh’s revenge saga continues to rewrite the record books.
