Actor Saumya Tandon has opened up about her experience working in Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, revealing that she deeply missed co-star Akshaye Khanna during the filming of the sequel.

Reprising her role as Ulfat, the wife of Rehman Dakait, Saumya said her character in the sequel had limited screen time but required intense emotional expression. She highlighted that several scenes relied purely on conveying feelings through expressions, especially the eyes, making the performance more challenging.

Speaking about the experience, Saumya admitted that Akshaye Khanna’s absence was one of the most difficult aspects of working on the film. She praised his performance in the first installment, saying she missed sharing screen space with him, both as an actor and as a viewer.

The sequel continues the story after the death of Rehman Dakait, which explains the character’s absence. Despite this, Saumya expressed hope that the film would continue to encourage strong storytelling in Indian cinema.
