Dhurandhar Actor Nadeem Khan Accused Of Rape By Domestic Worker, Arrested

In a shocking development for the film industry, actor Nadeem Khan, known for his recent role in the film Dhurandhar (2025), was arrested by the Mumbai Police on Thursday, January 22, 2026.

He faces serious charges of rape and sexual exploitation following a complaint by a 41-year-old domestic worker.

The survivor, who has worked in the homes of several actors over the years, filed a detailed complaint outlining a decade of abuse:

  • The Promise of Marriage: The victim stated that she first met Khan in 2015 while working at his residence. She alleged that he lured her into a physical relationship under the false promise of marriage.
  • 10-Year Exploitation: The survivor claims the sexual assault and emotional abuse continued for nearly 10 years at both her residence and Khan’s home in Versova.
  • Refusal to Marry: The victim finally approached the police after the actor categorically refused to fulfill his promise of marriage and the emotional abuse intensified.

The Arrest & Investigation

  • Jurisdictional Transfer: The complaint was initially filed at the Versova Police Station. However, because the alleged physical relationship first occurred within the Malvani area, the case was transferred to the Malvani Police Station via a “Zero FIR.”
  • Current Status: Nadeem Khan is currently in police custody. Officials are verifying the allegations and checking for any prior criminal history or similar complaints from other workers.

Who is Nadeem Khan?

Nadeem Khan is a character actor who has gradually built a presence in Bollywood through minor but notable roles:

  • Career Highlights: * Dhurandhar (2025): Portrayed “Akhlaq,” the cook for the dacoit Rahman.
    • Vadh (2022) & Mimi (2021): Appeared in supporting roles alongside veteran actors.
    • KBC Promo: Featured in a popular promotional video with Amitabh Bachchan in 2022.
  • Upcoming Project: He is slated to appear in Vadh 2, starring Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta, which is scheduled for release on February 6, 2026. His arrest has cast significant doubt on his participation in promotional activities for the film.

Industry Reaction

As of January 26, 2026, neither Nadeem Khan’s legal team nor the producers of his upcoming film Vadh 2 have issued a formal statement. This case adds to a series of recent controversies involving harassment and safety in the entertainment industry.
