Dhurandhar Trailer Launch Event In Mumbai To Get Postponed Due To Delhi Red Fort Blast?

Makers of the highly-anticipated spy thriller Dhurandhar have confirmed the trailer launch event will proceed as scheduled on Wednesday, November 12, in Mumbai, refuting social media speculation of a postponement following the deadly Red Fort blast.

November 11, 2025: The stage is set for one of the year’s biggest Bollywood events as the trailer for Ranveer Singh’s action thriller, Dhurandhar, is confirmed to launch as planned on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

The official confirmation puts to rest a wave of speculation that the event would be postponed due to Monday’s deadly car explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi, which has heightened security across the country.

A social media account had suggested the postponement, noting that the plot of Aditya Dhar’s film reportedly “bears a resemblance to terrorism and similar incidents.” Dhurandhar, which is based on true events, is widely speculated to be the story of an Indian undercover spy operating in Pakistan.

Grand Event in Mumbai

Despite the national security concern, the makers are proceeding with the grand launch at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai.

The event is designed to be a massive affair, with reports confirming that nearly 2,000 Ranveer Singh fans from across the country have been invited to attend the launch alongside the film’s cast and crew.

The film’s teaser, released on Ranveer Singh’s birthday in July, received a phenomenal response, showcasing the actor in a rugged, intense avatar in what he described as the story of “The Unknown Men.”
