In the touching post, Karan reflected on the values and emotional strength passed down to him. “He made films with soul and for the soul,” he wrote, adding, “Thank you for giving me the courage to show these feelings on the biggest screens possible.”

The tribute resonated deeply within the film industry. Filmmaker Farah Khan responded with “Love him,” while Maheep Kapoor left a string of heart emojis, reflecting the affection and respect Yash Johar still commands. Yash Johar, founder of Dharma Productions, passed away in 2004, but his legacy lives on through Karan’s iconic works like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, My Name Is Khan, and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
