Did Sachin Tendulkar Just Give Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par A Glowing Review?
Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar recently attended a special premiere of Aamir Khan’s much-awaited film Sitaare Zameen Par, and he walked out visibly moved and impressed. Hosted by Aamir himself, the private screening was held ahead of the film’s release, and Sachin’s heartfelt review is already creating buzz online.
In a video shared by Aamir Khan Productions, the cricketing legend can be seen embracing Aamir after watching the film, calling it an emotional and powerful experience. “I liked the film a lot. It makes you laugh and cry along with Team Sitaare. It has a very good message and the power to bring everybody together,” Sachin shared.
He also praised the performances in the movie, saying, “A big thumbs up to all the actors; they did such a great job.”
Aamir Khan, clearly emotional in the video, is seen watching Sachin intently as he speaks. The production house captioned the post, “From cricket fields to cinema halls, Sachin sir knows a classic when he sees one.”
Director RS Prasanna also posted the video with the caption, “The God speaks :)”, referring to Sachin’s revered status in Indian cricket and expressing gratitude for his glowing review.
The film is being touted as a spiritual successor to Aamir Khan’s 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par, though it explores new themes. This time, the story focuses on a group of children with special abilities who come together through sports and mentorship.
With strong social messaging, emotional storytelling, and a heartwarming performance by Aamir and the child actors, Sitaare Zameen Par is shaping up to be one of the most awaited films of the year.
