A social media post claiming to show Salman Khan congratulating Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal on their pregnancy has gone viral. However, the post is fake, as the actor has not made any public comment on the news.
September 24, 2025: A post started going around on social media soon after Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal said on Tuesday that they were having their first child. The post said that Bollywood star Salman Khan had congratulated the couple. But a number of reports and a fact-check show that the Instagram post that went viral is absolutely phony.
The fake picture, which rapidly went viral, displayed what looked like Salman Khan’s official Instagram account sharing Katrina and Vicky’s pregnancy announcement picture with the words “#congratulations” and a red heart emoji. Fans went crazy about the claimed gesture because Salman and Katrina have known each other for a long time and are quite close. Many rushed to his profile to see the post.
But a closer glance showed the reality. Fans who looked at Salman Khan’s Instagram didn’t find anything. Reports from Wednesday said that an AI chatbot was deployed to check the post, which proved that there was no such message on Salman Khan’s account. The person who made the meme eventually said it was just a prank for fun, but not before it generated a lot of uncertainty and triggered intense online debates about whether or not it was right to make such content.
Salman Khan hasn’t said anything about the story in public, but he and Katrina are still good friends at work. They just featured together in the hit movie Tiger 3.
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal revealed their happy news on Tuesday with a sweet black and white polaroid image. The actress held her baby bump while Vicky gently stroked her belly. The couple’s official announcement post said, “We’re on our way to start the best chapter of our lives with happy and thankful hearts.” A lot of people in the industry, including fans and friends, have been sending the pair their best wishes.
