Sean “Diddy” Combs, currently serving a sentence for prostitution-related convictions, is now expected to spend approximately four additional weeks behind bars. The Federal Bureau of Prisons website lists the rapper’s revised release date as June 4, 2028, a month later than his previous projected date of May 8, 2028.
While federal officials have not provided a direct explanation for the change, the revised timeline follows recent media reports alleging the 56-year-old mogul violated prison regulations at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.
The extension comes amid a highly scrutinized period following Combs’ transfer to Fort Dix:
Combs’ spokesperson has vehemently denied the reports, stating on November 9 that Combs “has not violated any prison rules,” and that maintaining sobriety and discipline remains his priority.
Combs’ legal team is currently preparing to appeal the sentence, arguing that Judge Arun Subramanian overstepped the jury’s role during the October sentencing hearing.
