Diljit Dosanjh & Badshah Light Up London’s O2 Arena with Surprise Performance
Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanjh’s record-shattering Dil-Luminati Tour continues to captivate audiences worldwide. The latest highlight took place at the iconic O2 Arena in London, where fans were treated to a surprise guest appearance by rapper and singer-songwriter Badshah during Diljit’s sold-out concert over the weekend.
While introducing Badshah, Diljit expressed his deep admiration for his friend, saying, “This person I am about to introduce is a very good human being, a very good soul. I’ve known him for 15 years, and he’s a big artist and my brother too. So, London O2, my brother and I are performing together for the first time, so please welcome Badboy Shah Badshah!”
The emotional moment resonated with Badshah, who later reflected, “Sharing the stage with Diljit Dosanjh was an absolute pleasure. It was a very emotional moment. He’s my role model and big brother. I’ve always looked up to him, and I’m happy we could do this together. Life has come full circle for me—performing at O2 London in 2014 was where it all started, and now, I’m announcing my very own O2 Arena show in 2025.”
On the professional front, Badshah is riding high on the success of his hit track Soulmate from his third studio album Ek Tha Raja, which recently crossed 100 million streams on Spotify. Both Sidhu Moose Wala and Badshah have also secured a remarkable milestone, becoming the only Indian artists to be listed among the top 10 most followed global hip-hop artists on Spotify.
