The much-anticipated sequel to the 2005 blockbuster No Entry has hit a fresh roadblock. Producer Boney Kapoor has officially confirmed that actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh is no longer a part of the film’s new cast. The announcement puts an end to months of speculation and clarifies that the decision was made due to scheduling conflicts.

In an interview with NDTV, Kapoor stated, “Yes, we have parted in good spirits as the dates were not aligning with our requirements. Hopefully, we will soon do a Punjabi film together.”

The actor’s demanding schedule is packed with film shoots and a major international music tour. His upcoming Aura Tour 2025 is set to take him across Australia and New Zealand from October 26 to November 13, a period that clashes directly with the planned October 2025 start date for No Entry 2.

The news is a bittersweet moment for Boney Kapoor, who has admitted that not being able to reunite the original cast—Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan—is a “sore point” for him. Speaking at a recent event, he expressed, “We waited for almost 8 to 10 years but somehow things didn’t happen. We will miss them.” He added that the new film would give a fresh start to the franchise with a “younger lot of actors,” including Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor.
