Diljit Dosanjh Gets Threat From Khalistani Outfit Sikhs For Justice For Touching Amitabh Bachchan’s Feet

Sikhs for Justice targets the Punjabi star Diljit upcoming Australia concert, demanding its shutdown after Dosanjh touched the Bollywood veteran’s feet on the set of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.

October 29, 2025: The designated Khalistani terror group, Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), has reportedly issued a serious threat against renowned Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh over a gesture of respect shown to Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

The controversy stems from Dosanjh touching Bachchan’s feet during an upcoming episode of the game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC). SFJ’s General Counsel, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, condemned the act, and has reportedly threatened to shut down Dosanjh’s scheduled concert in Australia on November 1.

The Allegations and Demand for Boycott

According to media reports, the SFJ’s fury is rooted in its long-standing accusation against Amitabh Bachchan. The group claims Bachchan incited mobs during the 1984 anti-Sikh violence with a provocative slogan.

  • SFJ alleges that by paying respect to Bachchan, Diljit Dosanjh has “insulted every victim, widow and orphan of the 1984 Sikh Genocide.”
  • The group specifically targeted the singer’s November 1 show, as that date is observed as Sikh Genocide Remembrance Day by the Akal Takht Sahib.
  • Pannun called Dosanjh’s show a “mockery of remembrance” and urged Sikh groups and artists globally to boycott the concert.

A Controversial Clash of Dates

The SFJ announced it would stage a “Panthic Shutdown Rally” outside the concert venue in Australia on November 1. Furthermore, the group has reportedly written to the Akal Takht Jathedar, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, asking him to summon Dosanjh to explain his actions.

The singer-actor, who has not yet publicly commented on the controversy, is currently on a world tour. The original footage of Dosanjh humbly touching Bachchan’s feet on the KBC set, a gesture widely seen as a mark of cultural respect, had previously gone viral, drawing praise from many fans before the SFJ’s intervention.
