SRK shares heartfelt BTS clip as Diljit calls Aryan “a reflection of Shah Rukh Khan” and lauds his singing and guitar skills
Mumbai, September 14 — Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh has showered praise on Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan, after collaborating with him on the track Tenu Ki Pata from Aryan’s much-anticipated directorial debut, The Ba**ds of Bollywood*.
Earlier, Diljit lent his voice to the chartbuster Banda in Shah Rukh’s film. This time, the magic continues as he joins forces with Khan Jr for a track that is already creating buzz.
On Friday, SRK shared a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video from the making of Tenu Ki Pata. The clip shows Diljit and Aryan enjoying lighthearted banter in the studio while recording the track.
“A heartfelt thanks and big jhappi to Diljit paaji… you are too kind and sweet. Hope Aryan didn’t trouble you too much. Love you @diljitdosanjh #TenuKiPata out now,” Shah Rukh wrote on X, winning hearts with his trademark humility.
Diljit’s Emotional Response
Diljit, known for his down-to-earth charm, replied in Punjabi with heartfelt words for both SRK and Aryan:
“Sir, bohot pyar ji. Aryan v bahut pyara hai… Pehli baar jab studio mein mila toh laga jaise aapse mil raha hoon, jo mere liye bilkul shocking tha. Aryan guitar bhi play karta hai aur gaata bhi utna hi acha hai. Jab main song dub kar raha tha, he knew every single note of the song. God bless him. RESPECT.”
(Translation: Aryan is truly very dear. The first time I met him in the studio, it felt like I was meeting you. I was shocked to know Aryan can play guitar and sing so well. While I was dubbing the song, he knew every single note of it. God bless him. Respect.)
His words not only highlighted Aryan’s musical talent but also reflected the deep admiration he holds for Shah Rukh Khan.
Song & Show Details
Tenu Ki Pata is picturised on Manoj Pahwa’s character inside Aryan’s stylised, edgy cinematic universe. The track combines bold beats, infectious energy, and raw attitude, offering a glimpse into the chaotic ambition of the narrative.
The video also features rapper Badshah, who shares screen space with Pahwa in an intense clash.
The song is composed, arranged, and produced by Ujwal Gupta, with lyrics by Kumaar. Following Badli Si Hawa Hai and Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri, this third single marks a shift in vibe, blending Diljit’s Punjabi essence with modern experimental production.
The trailer of The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, written and directed by Aryan Khan, was released recently, teasing audiences with a raw, unfiltered take on Bollywood’s underbelly. The show is set to premiere on September 18 on Netflix.
