Diljit Dosanjh Scripts History, Becomes First Indian Artist To Feature On Billboard Canada

October 20, 2024: Diljit Dosanjh has created history by becoming the first Indian artist to be featured on the cover of Billboard Canada.

This achievement is part of the inaugural print edition of the magazine, which highlights exclusive content from his Dil-Luminati tour, celebrating his success on the global stage.

Billboard Canada’s official Instagram account shared the cover featuring Diljit, describing this moment as a “monumental” occasion. Fans quickly flooded the comments section, expressing pride and excitement for the representation Diljit brings to the international scene. Comments like “Diljit giving us the representation we deserve!!” and “Making history and making us proud each step of the way” echoed widespread admiration for his accomplishments.

Currently on tour in the US and Europe, Diljit will begin the Indian leg of his tour this October, kicking off with a performance at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on October 26, followed by performances in major cities across India.

In addition to his musical achievements, Diljit has also announced his casting in the highly anticipated sequel ‘Border 2’, alongside Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. The film will be set against the backdrop of the Battle of Longewala, with filming slated to begin in November.
