Diljit Dosanjh Walks Out of ‘No Entry 2’? Here’s What We Know

May 15, 2025: One of Bollywood’s most anticipated comedy sequels, No Entry 2, has hit a snag even before going on floors. According to a new report, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has exited the project due to “creative differences” with the film’s team. While an official confirmation is still awaited, insiders claim the decision was mutual and amicable.

Diljit, who was initially excited to join forces with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, allegedly failed to align with the film’s creative vision. A source quoted said, “Diljit was very excited to collaborate with Varun and Arjun, but he couldn’t align with the film’s creative ideas. That’s why he decided to leave the project.”

The sequel to the 2005 cult comedy No Entry, this updated version is being directed by Anees Bazmee, who also helmed the original. The film is being produced by Boney Kapoor, who recently confirmed that the shooting will kick off in June or July 2025, targeting a Diwali release on October 26, 2025.

Despite the casting shuffle, the buzz around No Entry 2 remains strong. Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has officially joined the project and is reportedly playing a character similar to the one portrayed by Bipasha Basu in the original. Meanwhile, Bazmee has been sharing updates from Greece, where he’s scouting locations and finalizing production details.

Earlier, Boney Kapoor addressed questions about not bringing back the original trio of Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, and Fardeen Khan, stating, “We’re going with a fresh cast and a fresher script. It’ll be better than the original.”

With or without Diljit, No Entry 2 is shaping up to be one of 2025’s most talked-about comedies — and the countdown to the chaos has already begun.
