
Dining With The Kapoors: Exploring Bollywood’s Legacy Through Food and Family Stories
February 4, 2025: Several members of the iconic Kapoor family, including Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, and Karisma Kapoor, are coming together for a unique show titled Dining With The Kapoors. Unveiled at the Next on Netflix event in Mumbai, the series promises an intimate look at the family’s life, with conversations centered around food, cinema, and personal memories.

The show’s concept dives deep into the Kapoors’ legacy, tracing their shared experiences growing up, their culinary indulgences, and their deep ties with Bollywood. Apart from the major Kapoor stars, the show will also feature Armaan Jain, Anissa Malhotra Jain, Aadar Jain, Rima Jain, Bharat Sahni, Manoj Jain, and Navya Naveli Nanda, among others.

Taking to Instagram, Netflix unveiled the show’s poster with the caption, “A seat at the table with one of the oldest and grandest Bollywood families.”
Armaan Jain, the creator and showrunner, shared his emotional journey in bringing this project to life. “Growing up in the Kapoor family, food and cinema weren’t just passions—they were the glue that held us together. The real magic happens around the dinner table, where stories, laughter, and memories define who we are. This project celebrates those bonds and honors our family legacy.”

Jain also added that this project marked a personal milestone for him as it was his first venture as a conceptualizer, producer, and showrunner. “It’s a dream I’ve carried since childhood, blending storytelling, food, and family into one heartfelt narrative.”
Directed by Smriti Mundhra and produced under Aavashyak Media, the show boasts an impressive production team, including executive producers Armaan Jain, Varun Ambani, Naval Gamadia, and Smriti Mundhra. The series blends heartfelt storytelling with moments of nostalgia, laughter, and culinary delights, celebrating the Kapoor family’s Bollywood heritage.
