Disha Salian Murder case: State orders SIT probe

Tuesday saw the state government order a SIT (Special Investigation Team) investigation into the passing of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s manager, Disha Salian. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis told the Assembly in December of last year that a SIT would be established to look into the Salian’s death. In October of this year, BJP leader Nitesh Rane demanded that senior Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray and his father address the Disha Salian case, specifically focusing on UBT leader Aaditya Thackeray.
