The actress explicitly clarifies the ongoing separation rumors with T-Series Chairman Bhushan Kumar, stating that she is not divorced but the media is fueling the speculation.
December 5, 2025: Actress and filmmaker Divya Khosla Kumar has addressed the intense speculation surrounding her personal life, explicitly denying reports of a pending divorce from her husband, T-Series chairman Bhushan Kumar. Her denial came during a candid ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Reddit, where she also shared strong opinions on the toxic environment within the film industry.
Divorce Denial: “The Media Really Wants It”
For months, the couple has been subject to persistent media speculation regarding a separation, especially after Divya subtly dropped her married name, ‘Kumar,’ from her social media handles earlier this year.

When directly questioned by a user during the Reddit session, “Are you divorced from Bhushan Kumar?” Divya Khosla offered a concise and definitive denial, placing the blame for the persistent rumours on news outlets:
“No, but the media really wants it.”
Slams Bollywood as a ‘Plague of Crocodiles’
During the session, Divya also opened up about the challenges of navigating the Hindi film industry, describing it with highly critical terminology.
When asked how she maintains her mental health amid the “toxicity in Bollywood,” Divya stated:
“I myself feel that Bollywood is a place where there are crocodiles all around, and you feel like you have to navigate your way through it.”

She emphasized the importance of integrity, adding, “I think the most important thing is to remain true to your own self. I will never sell my soul to get work. Hota hai toh theek hai, nahi hota toh bhi theek hai (If it happens, fine. If it doesn’t happen, it’s still fine), and what’s more important is when you reach up you should have a good slate of karma to carry with you.”
Divya Khosla Kumar was most recently seen in the Umesh Shukla directorial, Ek Chatur Naar, co-starring Neil Nitin Mukesh, which is slated for a September 12 release.
