The highly-anticipated trailer for the comedy-drama series Do You Wanna Partner has been released, showcasing Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty as two best friends on a hilarious mission to launch their own alcohol start-up.
August 29, 2025: Amazon Prime Video has released the highly-anticipated trailer for their forthcoming comedy-drama series, Do You Wanna Partner, starring actors Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty. Dharmatic Entertainment made the show, and Collin D’Cunha directed it. The show promises to be a fascinating and funny look at the world of women entrepreneurs.
The trailer provides viewers a taste of the life of best friends Shikha (Tamannaah Bhatia) and Anahita (Diana Penty) as they decide to take a big step into the start-up world by starting their own craft beer brand. The show follows their high-energy voyage as they cope with a lot of problems, such tough beer barons and mobsters, and use “jugaad” to make their goal come true.
The main question the show asks is if these two “boss ladies” can prove that women can brew beer and whether their dream will die before they even pour it.
Tamannaah Bhatia said in a statement that she was excited about the project and called it “one of the most layered, emotionally complex yet fun shows I’ve ever been a part of.” She talked about how the show promotes female friendships and the spirit of sisterhood without making it a battle between men and women. “It’s a story that celebrates friendship, hard work, and the bravery to make the most outlandish ideas come true,” she said.
Diana Penty agreed with her co-star that the show did a great job of showing how women can be friends. She thinks this is a concept that isn’t covered very deeply on television. “Playing Anahita, a woman who follows her dreams with strength while supporting her best friend and dealing with the many problems that come with being an entrepreneur, has been both exciting and empowering,” Penty added.
Archit Kumar and Collin D’Cunha are in charge of the comedy, which was written by Nandini Gupta, Aarsh Vora, and Mithun Gangopadhyay. They also made the series with Nishant Nayak. Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, and Apoorva Mehta are the producers of the series. Somen Mishra and Archit Kumar are the executive producers.
Do You Wanna Partner will only be available on Amazon Prime Video starting September 12.
