Surpassing ‘Love Today’ & Taking on ‘Vidaamuyarchi’

With ‘Dragon,’ Pradeep Ranganathan has outperformed his previous hit ‘Love Today’ and has further cemented his place as one of Tamil cinema’s biggest young stars.

Trade analysts predict that within a few days, ‘Dragon’ will surpass ‘Vidaamuyarchi’, officially becoming the highest-grossing Tamil film of the year.

The Plot That Struck a Chord

The film revolves around a college student burdened with 48 backlogs, who later turns successful but is forced to return to college under unusual circumstances—all while keeping it a secret from his boss, fiancée, and family.
