The upcoming film ‘Dry Day’, helmed by actor-director Saurabh Shukla, stars Jitendra Kumar and Shriya Pilgaonkar in pivotal roles. The story takes place in the country’s heartland as Jitendra Kumar’s character, Gannu, a small-time criminal, sets out on a journey against the system.
Gannu faces not only outside obstacles but also his own fears and alcoholism while he emotionally tries to win the love and trust of those he cares about. The film’s director, Saurabh, expressed excitement to ANI, saying, “‘Dry Day’ is an entertaining film. It also has a social message associated with it. There is undoubtedly something to learn from the movie.” Shriya also conveyed her enthusiasm for her role in the movie.
“I’m appreciative to be in the movie. I gained a lot of knowledge from the incredible team I worked with on the movie. In addition to being highly entertaining, the movie will make you consider certain issues in your life, the speaker stated.
On December 22, “Dry Day” will be available on Prime Video. The film also stars Annu Kapoor, a seasoned actor.
