Dunki Drop 4: Official trailer launches today

The official trailer for superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming comedy-drama film “Dunki” was released on Tuesday.
SRK posted the teaser for Dunki: Drop 4 on Instagram with the comment, “Yeh kahani maine shuru ki thi, Laltu se! Apne Ullu de patthon ke saath, isey khatam bhi main hi karunga. The trailer for Dunki will take you on a journey that started with Raju Sir’s idea. It will transport you to a crazy journey of friendship, the tragedy and humour of life, and a longing for one’s hometown and family. The film, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, features Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, and SRK in the key parts.

A glimpse into the charming world of Rajkumar Hirani can be found in Dunki: Drop 4. SRK’s train scene at the beginning sets the tone for the exciting journey to come. Beginning with Hardy, played by SRK, who arrives in a picturesque Punjabi village and meets a group of lively friends—Manu, Sukhi, Buggu, and Balli—all of whom share the dream of travelling to London in search of better opportunities and a better life for their loved ones back home—the video unit introduces the wonderfully whimsical characters.

This endearing story, which captures a wide range of emotions in a single frame, follows four friends on an amazing journey to foreign lands that is full of obstacles and experiences that change their lives.

‘Dunki Drop 1’ was released by Rajkumar Hirani on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday. ‘Dunki Drop 2’, titled ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’, featured Arijit Singh’s melodious voice following. ‘Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se’, a poignant melody that echoes the emotions of homecoming, by Sonu Nigam, further pulled at our heartstrings in Dunki Drop 3.

The Dunki Drop 4 transports viewers on an exciting journey along the Dunki route, the route these friends take to get where they want to go, while deftly revealing the facets of friendship and love. We’re left wanting more as the trailer ends with a glimpse of SRK in an older role, excited for the incredible journey that lies ahead.

Gauri Khan and Rajkumar Hirani are the producers of “Dunki.” On December 21, 2023, the film, which was written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon, will be released.
