Ed Sheeran, Weezer Join Coachella 2025 Lineup

April 6, 2025: Fans of pop sensation Ed Sheeran and iconic rock band Weezer are in for a musical treat, as both artists have been added to the much-anticipated Coachella 2025 lineup. However, festival-goers won’t be able to catch both artists on the same weekend. Instead, Sheeran and Weezer will perform during separate Saturdays, playing almost at the same time in the same venue, with surprisingly early start times.

Weezer, known for their hits like “Buddy Holly” and “Island in the Sun,” will perform in the Mojave tent on April 12 at 3:10 p.m., while Sheeran, famous for tracks like “Shape of You” and “Perfect,” will take the same stage a week later on April 19 at 3 p.m. Weezer’s performance will last 45 minutes, while Sheeran will be given a full hour on stage.

The festival’s updated performance schedule, posted on Coachella’s social media accounts, also sheds light on other headlining acts. For example, on the two Saturdays of the festival, Green Day and Travis Scott will share the headlining duties. Green Day will take the stage from 9:05 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. PT, followed by Scott, who will perform from midnight onwards.

In addition to Sheeran and Weezer, the lineup features Lady Gaga, who will perform on Friday nights of both weekends at 11:10 p.m., and Post Malone, who will headline the Sundays at 10:25 p.m. Other notable performers include Megan Thee Stallion, Zedd, Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, and Three 6 Mafia.

Coachella, spanning two weekends, will run from April 11 to April 20, 2025. Sheeran’s appearance at the festival is part of his promotional rollout for his upcoming album, “Play,” although no official release date for the record has been set. The pop star is also expected to go on a European tour from May to August. Fans are eagerly awaiting Sheeran’s new single, “Azizam,” which is expected to drop soon.
