‘Ek Number Ki Daayan’: Kartik Aryan’s Faceoff With OG Manjulika,’Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3′ Teaser Out, See Video

The teaser for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released on Friday, igniting excitement among fans as it marks the return of Vidya Balan as the iconic character Manjulika.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, who also directed the previous installment, this film sees Kartik Aaryan reprising his role as Rooh Baba, the ghost hunter who must confront Manjulika once again.

The teaser opens with the eerie notes of “Ami Je Tomar,” signaling Vidya’s dramatic return to the franchise, which began with her memorable performance in the original film in 2007. Viewers are treated to a chilling nod to the first film, showcasing Manjulika’s power as she lifts a heavy chair while screaming in desperation, trying to break free from her confines. Rooh Baba, played by Kartik Aaryan, makes a striking entrance, questioning, “Kya Laga tha kahani Khatam hogayi?”, hinting at the thrilling confrontations to come.

The teaser portrays an enraged Manjulika striving to escape from her dungeon, setting the stage for a suspenseful showdown with Rooh Baba.

Before the teaser’s release, the filmmakers created buzz with a captivating poster featuring a haunted palace and ghostly silhouettes against a dark sky. Kartik Aaryan also shared on Instagram, “Rooh Baba Vs Manjulika…Iss Diwali #BhoolBhulaiyaa3. #YeDiwaliBhoolBhulaiyaaVaali,” generating further excitement for the film.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 promises a mix of psychological horror and comedy, characteristic of the franchise, and is set to release during the Diwali festival in 2024.
