Los Angeles, August 21: Fans of Emily in Paris can finally mark their calendars—Season 5 of the hit Netflix series is officially arriving on December 18, 2025. The makers dropped the announcement on Wednesday along with a set of stunning first-look images, revealing that Emily’s latest adventures will take her to none other than the romantic city of Venice, Italy.

This season picks up after Emily’s big move to Rome at the end of Season 4, where she took charge of Agence Grateau’s Italian office and began spending time with Marcello (played by Eugenio Franceschini). Now, Emily (Lily Collins) finds herself splitting her life between Rome and Venice, with a fresh mix of challenges, both personal and professional.

According to the official synopsis, Emily’s world takes an unexpected turn when one of her ambitious work ideas backfires, leading to heartbreak and career turmoil. Just as she attempts to find balance by embracing her French lifestyle, a hidden secret threatens one of her closest relationships. What follows is a season of honesty, conflict, and rediscovery—ultimately pushing Emily toward deeper connections and new beginnings.

The newly released stills have already caught attention—not only for their scenic Venetian backdrops but also for Emily’s chic new bob haircut, signaling yet another reinvention of the beloved character.
