On the October 4th episode of her podcast, Hailie opened up about how she managed to keep her pregnancy a secret during her May wedding to Evan McClintock. In a lighthearted conversation with her co-host and best friend, Brittany Ednie, they recounted how Ednie discreetly helped hide the pregnancy by drinking Hailie’s drinks during the wedding, making it appear as though Hailie was partaking.

The announcement came after the release of Eminem’s music video, which featured nostalgic home videos of Hailie. In an emotional scene towards the end of the video, Hailie surprises her father with a blue football jersey labeled “Grandpa” and a sonogram, capturing Eminem’s emotional reaction to the news that he will soon be a grandfather.
