On February 6, 2025, Esha arrived at the sacred Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati, to take a holy dip, a ritual that draws millions of pilgrims every year. She shared her experience on Instagram, posting photos from the event and expressing her gratitude for the divine experience.
In one of her posts, Esha was seen alongside Nandi Gupta, the Minister for Export Promotion of Uttar Pradesh, and motivational speaker Indresh Upadhyay. She captioned the picture with “Divy Kumbh, Bhavy Kumbh #mahakumbh2025” (Divine Kumbh, Grand Kumbh), reflecting the significance of the occasion.
Esha’s visit to the Mahakumbh Mela is part of the larger influx of prominent personalities attending the grand event this year. Among the notable figures was Chris Martin, lead singer of the internationally renowned band Coldplay, who also took part in the sacred ritual while visiting India for a concert.
The Mahakumbh Mela, which began on Paush Purnima (January 13, 2025), continues to attract pilgrims and spiritual seekers from around the world. Prominent public figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, have also participated in the holy event. CM Saini, along with his family, took part in the dip at the Triveni Sangam and shared his joy on social media.
The grand religious festival will continue until Mahashivratri, February 26, 2025, and remains a major spiritual and cultural gathering in India. Esha Gupta’s participation in the event has further heightened its significance among her fans and followers.
