F1 Box Office Collection: Brad Pitt’s Racing Drama Crosses ₹1,235 Crore Worldwide, Closing in on Break-Even

Brad Pitt’s F1 races ahead globally with over $144 million in earnings, including ₹25.5 crore from India. Despite strong momentum, the film is yet to recover its massive ₹1,700 crore budget.

Brad Pitt’s high-octane sports drama F1 is holding strong at the global box office. Directed by Joseph Kosinski and backed by producers Jerry Bruckheimer and F1 legend Lewis Hamilton, the film has struck a chord with racing fans and general audiences alike. After four days in theatres, the global box office tally for F1 has crossed a massive ₹1,235 crore ($144.2 million), including ₹760 crore from overseas markets.

India Box Office Performance

In India, F1 had a decent opening with ₹5.5 crore net on Day 1 and picked up pace over the weekend. By Day 4, it had earned ₹3.25 crore, bringing its total net collection in India to ₹24.65 crore and gross collection to ₹25.5 crore. The film has outperformed Kajol’s Maa and is now inching past Kannappa in domestic earnings.

  • North America: $55.6 million (₹4,760 crore)

F1 also made headlines for crossing the $140 million global mark in its opening weekend alone. However, considering the film’s staggering ₹1,700 crore production budget, it still has a way to go before becoming a certified blockbuster.
