'Family Man 3' Actor Rohit Basfore Found Dead Near Guwahati Waterfall
April 29, 2025: Rohit Basfore, known for his role in the upcoming series Family Man 3, tragically passed away after falling into the Garbhanga Waterfalls while on a picnic with nine colleagues. The incident occurred on Sunday, April 27, around 2 PM, as confirmed by reports from GPlus and local police sources.
According to officials from the Rani Police Outpost, the body was recovered by the SDRF team at approximately 6:30 PM. Police have stated that no foul play is suspected, and the initial investigation suggests that Rohit accidentally fell into the waterfall. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, with further investigation underway.
Rohit had been active on social media, sharing photos from the sets of Family Man 3. Just months earlier, he expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside actors like Jaideep Ahlawat and Dalip Tahil, calling it a “great experience.”
