'Fantastic Four: First Steps' Set To Release In Summers Ahead Of 'Avengers: Doomsday'
April 4, 2025: At CinemaCon on Thursday night, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige treated attendees to a sneak peek of the much-anticipated Fantastic Four: First Steps. This film is set to bring Marvel’s iconic team to life with Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.
The trailer, which wasn’t released online, highlighted the team’s dynamic as they face off against formidable threats, including the colossal Galactus. A touching moment was shown between Reed and Sue as they discover they’re expecting a baby, leading to a moment of mixed emotions. Kirby’s Sue reassures Reed, saying, “We can do this,” and later, in a fierce battle, she declares, “We will face this together. We will fight it together — as a family.”
Feige also teased the addition of a major character: the Silver Surfer, played by Julia Garner. The introduction of this cosmic hero has fans excited as the stakes continue to rise in the Marvel Universe.
Feige also revealed exciting news that Avengers: Doomsday, which will feature Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, will begin principal photography soon. The Fantastic Four movie, slated for release on July 25, serves as a lead-up to Avengers: Doomsday, which will feature all four members of the Fantastic Four and is expected to hit theaters next summer.
