Fardeen Khan and Riteish Deshmukh’s Visfot Set for Digital Release

Instead of a theatrical release, the highly anticipated Fardeen Khan and Riteish Deshmukh-starrer Visfot is all set to begin its digital journey. Directed by Kookie Gulati, the film will be available for streaming on JioCinema starting September 6.

The exciting update was shared on the official Instagram handle of JioCinema, along with the film’s poster featuring Fardeen Khan and Riteish Deshmukh in intense and captivating looks. The post read, “Get ready for the biggest explosion on your screen! #Visfot streaming 6 September onwards, exclusively on JioCinema Premium.”

Visfot is produced by Anuradha Gupta and Sanjay Rajprakash Gupta and also stars Krystle D’Souza. The film is an official remake of the international film Rock, Paper and Scissors and has been eagerly awaited by fans since it first went on floors in 2021.

Krystle D’Souza, who plays a pivotal role in the film, previously shared her excitement about being part of the project. “There is no greater thrill as an actor than being called on to be a part of a fantastic script. That’s what this film is for me. The story is such a roller coaster ride filled with twists and turns,” she said.

She further added, “I am so kicked to be sharing screen space with the ever so charming Fardeen Khan and the solid Riteish Deshmukh. These actors are so different from each other and there’s so much to lap up from them individually when we work together. Shooting this has been a fun ride.”

Visfot marks the reunion of Fardeen Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, who were last seen together in the 2007 comedy Heyy Babyy, which also starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. With its digital release on JioCinema, fans are eagerly awaiting to see the duo back on screen in this thrilling new avatar.
