Fardeen Khan Reminisces About ‘No Entry’ as the Comedy Classic Marks 19 Years

In Bollywood, few films have been crafted with the sole purpose of leaving the audience in stitches, and ‘No Entry’ is undoubtedly one of them. Directed by Anees Bazmee, this comedy classic, which featured an ensemble cast including Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Celina Jaitly, and Boman Irani, has been making audiences laugh for nearly two decades. Remarkably, the film celebrated its 19th anniversary on Monday.

Taking a nostalgic trip down memory lane, Fardeen Khan shared his reflections on Instagram, commemorating the milestone. “19 years ago, ‘No Entry’ hit the screens, and what a journey it has been! Playing Sunny was a blast, but the real magic happened with the incredible team that made this film unforgettable,” Fardeen wrote.

He extended a special shoutout to his co-stars, acknowledging their unique contributions to the film’s success. “A big shoutout to @anilskapoor, whose charm and energy were unmatched, and @beingsalmankhan, whose star power took the film to another level. @bipashabasu, @larabhupathi, @imeshadeol, and @celinajaitlyofficial – each brought something special that made ‘No Entry’ the rollercoaster ride that it was,” he added.

Fardeen also expressed his deep gratitude to the film’s director, Anees Bazmee, and producer, Boney Kapoor. “To the genius behind the scenes, @aneesbazmee, thank you for your brilliant direction and for making this film a comedy classic. I learnt so much from you. To @boney.kapoor, it’s your vision as a producer that brought it all together. It was your belief in me that made me take on ‘Sunny’. Thank you,” Fardeen shared.

In his heartfelt note, Fardeen also expressed appreciation for the fans who have continued to love and cherish the film over the years. “Most importantly, to all of you who’ve loved ‘No Entry’ over the years, thank you, thank you, and thank you again. Your love for Sunny and the entire film means everything. Here’s to the memories and the laughter that still echoes 19 years later! #NoEntry #19YearsOfNoEntry,” he concluded.

Amid the anniversary celebrations, rumors about a sequel to ‘No Entry’ have been circulating online. However, an official announcement from the makers regarding ‘No Entry 2’ is still awaited. Fans are eagerly looking forward to any updates on the much-anticipated follow-up to the beloved comedy.
