The movie was announced in 2021 with a great cast that included Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif. However, it has been delayed so many times that many people think the project has been canceled.

In a recent interview on the YouTube channel “Our Stupid Reactions,” Akhtar talked about the rumors that were coming up. “I don’t want to suggest that it’s on hold. What I will say is that it has been placed on hold. There will be a movie. I have no idea when it will be. “But the script is just too good,” he said.

Akhtar also said that a lot of work has already been done on the film’s pre-production. “There’s already been a lot of work done on it. I finished all the location scouting and made music for the movie. He said, “Everything is done.” As Akhtar has said in other interviews, the main reason for the delay is still the difficulty of getting the schedules of the three key actresses to match up.
