Farhan Akhtar’s Comeback As An Actor In War Film “120 Bahadur”

Farhan Akhtar has announced his latest project, “120 Bahadur,” a military action film based on the legendary Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Indo-China war. In this film, Farhan will portray Major Shaitan Singh, a Param Vir Chakra (PVC) awardee, who played a pivotal role in the battle. The story of “120 Bahadur” centers on the incredible bravery and sacrifice of the soldiers from the Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought against overwhelming odds in the harsh terrains of Ladakh.

Farhan shared the first poster of the film on Instagram, featuring a soldier standing resolutely on a snow-covered rock, likely depicting Maj. Shaitan Singh. In his post, Farhan expressed deep gratitude to the Indian Army for their support in bringing this heroic tale to the big screen, emphasizing the importance of honoring the courage and selflessness displayed by these soldiers.

Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Excel Entertainment, “120 Bahadur” began filming recently. This project highlights a significant chapter in Indian military history and is expected to be a tribute to the valor of the soldiers who fought in Rezang La.

In addition to this project, Farhan is also preparing for the highly anticipated “Don 3,” where Ranveer Singh will take on the iconic role of Don. This third installment of the Don franchise, which has previously featured Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role, continues the legacy of compelling storytelling and high-octane action.
