Fateh Box Office Day 7: Sonu Sood's Debut Surpasses Lifetime Earnings of 2024’s Hindi Year-Opener
January 18, 2025: Sonu Sood’s maiden directorial venture Fateh continues to surprise at the box office with steady performance over its first week. By the end of Day 7, the film’s total collection stands at ₹16.25 crore, surpassing expectations and outshining recent releases by other actor-turned-directors.
Fateh has overtaken the first-week earnings of Madgaon Express (₹13.83 crore), directed by Kunal Kemmu, and Randeep Hooda’s Swatantrya Veer Savarkar (₹11.37 crore). This milestone cements Sonu Sood’s debut as the most successful among 2024’s actor-turned-director projects in terms of initial box office performance.
On its seventh day, Fateh collected ₹1.02 crore, reflecting a 26% drop from Wednesday’s earnings of ₹1.38 crore. The film’s weekend performance will be crucial in determining its sustained success, with projections indicating a potential ₹4+ crore haul by the second weekend.
